Magical Sonoran Desert ‘Tour’
The Sonoran Desert is an American wonder to behold! It is easy to fall in love with this amazing land and home of the:
-
Giant Saguaro Cactus
-
Organ Pipe Cactus
-
Ocotillo
-
Elf Owl
- Javelina
- Gila Monster
- And, much more…
I did when I first visited the desert over 15 years ago! I have returned many times since then, and my deep appreciation bring this unique national and environmental treasure to life.
The “Magical Sonoran Desert Tour” combines beautiful slides of indigenous plants, animals, insects, etc. with a collection of stories from my personal desert ‘adventures,’ and indigenous cultures from the Southwest to captivate and educate audiences of all ages.
It is a fantastic addition to your environmental education programming, especially considering it is an area within the top 25 at serious risk due to climate change!
