Sheila the Brave
Sheila the Brave was ‘born’ almost 20 years after a series of traumatic losses that occurred during my childhood. Over the last twelve years, I have been sharing Sheila’s story, as well as my own journey through grief to listeners of all ages.
Audiences young and older love Sheila and identify with her journey. The images, metaphors and themes within this healing tale provide listeners with an emotionally safe opportunity to connect and reflect with their own experiences.
